Topic 2 Research Support for MathVIDS
Purpose To learn about the research-bases that support the content and instructional practices included in MathVIDS.

Description

It is important for educators to be critical consumers of information they intend to incorporate into teaching. In this activity, you will be introduced to research that supports the content and instructional practices modeled in MathVIDS. You will see how literature from multiple disciplines (e.g., special education, mathematics education, early-childhood education) informs these practices. Additionally, you will learn the rationale for why the strategies included in MathVIDS were selected.
