This is my fourth year as Hylton's ITRT. I began my career as a Social Studies Teacher, took five years off from teaching to work as an IT consultant, and then returned to my first love, education, in 2004. I was very excited to be offered the ITRT position because it combines two of my favorite things -- teaching and technology.

I am currently the administrator for our school's Learning Management System, accessible at http://cdhylton.com/. We looked at several alternatives, but decided on SchoolFusion as the best match for our needs. More information on SchoolFusion is available at http://www.schoolfusion.com/. All of Prince William County's high schools are now using it, too, as well as several of our middle schools.

This year I also started my own blog at http://tekkieteacher.edublogs.org/. If you are looking for a good blogging tool, I recommend http://edublogs.org/. It's very easy to use and since it is used for educational purposes, it isn't blocked by our school's firewall.
